Human Anatomy is Adorning Itself (2008-2011)
EN: Human Anatomy is Adorning Itself (2009–2011) is a multimedia installation series that adopts a neurophilosophical approach to explore the fluidity of human consciousness. Combining wearable sculptures, a video performance, a slide projection of the inner landscape of a human lung, and a photographic self‑portrait essay, the work forms a phenomenological and anatomical map tracing the ever‑shifting architecture of the self.
The objects are crafted with colours and textures that evoke the layers of the dermis, serving as metaphors for the multiple selves each person inhabits. At its core, the work raises a fundamental question: how can we define a singular self when shaped by so many internal paradoxes?
The project has been supported by / exhibited at DAS Weekend, Berlin (2011), Kunstraum t27 (2011), Tallerts Oberts (2011, Centre For Sustainable Fashion (2011), Der Greif (2011), Gedankenskulptur (2012), Sova Magazine (2012).

DE: Human Anatomy is Adorning Itself (2009–2011) ist eine multimediale Installationsreihe, die einen neurophilosophischen Ansatz verfolgt, um die Fluidität des menschlichen Bewusstseins zu erforschen. Durch die Verbindung von tragbaren Skulpturen, einer Video-Performance, einer Dia-Projektion der inneren Landschaft einer menschlichen Lunge und einer fotografischen Selbstporträt-Serie entsteht eine phänomenologische und anatomische Karte, die eine sich ständig wandelnde Architektur des Selbst nachzeichnet.
Die Objekte sind mit Farben und Texturen gestaltet, die an die Schichten der Dermis erinnern und als Metaphern für die Vielzahl der Selbste dienen, die eine Person verkörpert. Im Kern stellt das Werk eine grundlegende Frage: Wie können wir ein singuläres Selbst definieren, wenn wir von so vielen inneren Paradoxien geprägt sind?
